on top of ... “除……之外，另外，更重要的是”。of后可加this, these, that, those, everything等词。还有“在……上方 ”的意思。
eg. He lost his job and on top of that, his wife was ill.

fall asleep 入睡，睡着（强调动作）
be asleep 睡着了（强调状态）
eg. I fell asleep while doing my homework last night.

such/so 如此，结构为：
such + a/an +adj. +n. = so +adj. + a/an +n.
eg. He is such a clever boy. =
He is so clever a boy.
当复数名词、不可数名词前有many,much,little,few修饰时，用so。如：
so many books, so much water
